For the 9th volume of FRKWYS, Sun Araw and M. Geddes Gengras meet legendary dub reggae group The Congos in St. Catherine, Jamaica. The result is a full-length album, “Icon Give Thank” and a film “Icon Eye”, documenting the young musicians’ time spent living and learning The Congos way.

construit autour des thèmes de l’amour et de la nuit.
Quand le photographe Ed Templeton déclare: “J’ai toujours aimé l’art personnel et détesté ce qui est ironique ou opaque”, il illustre parfaitement le point de vue de Wow Magazine, et plus spécifiquement ce que nous avons voulu réaliser avec ce numéro: rassembler des artistes pour qui créer quelque chose de personnel, d’émotionnellement puissant et sincère, a une valeur.
Wow Magazine will release its 2d print issue on November 21st,
focused on two themes, love and the night.
When the American photographer Ed Templeton declared: “I have always liked artwork that is personal and I, for sure, dislike work that is ironic and opaque”, he illustrated to perfection the stance of Wow Magazine, and more specifically what we have attempted to do with this issue - bringing together artists for who creating something personal, emotionally powerful and sincere, is of value.

Jess Gough is a 21 year old photographer based in London, capturing youth and freedom with a fresh eye.
